Jen Sincero, a writer, speaker and success coach has written a number of books that have very similar writing styles but one that stuck out for me was this one. Having just finished it, this book gave me several mental slaps!

Self-help books (especially when focused on self-talk) can be annoyingly repetitive. However, Jen’s pinch of humor makes this an awesome book.

Some of the main takeaways from her book are so awesome I couldn’t help but share:

“You are responsible for what you say and do. You are not responsible for whether or not people freak out about it.”

“Because if you base your self-worth on what everyone else thinks of you, you hand all your power over to other people and become dependent on a source outside of yourself for validation”

“The only failure is quitting. Everything else is just gathering information.”

“When you are consistently in a state of gratitude, and aware of all the awesomeness that already exists, it, among many other things, makes it much easier for you to believe that there’s more awesomeness where that came from, and that this yet-to-be-manifested awesomeness is also available to you.”

“When we share what we were brought here to give, we are in alignment with our highest, most powerful selves.”

Next time you see this in front of you, give it a go!

You are awesome, a badass and you owe it to yourself to shine as bright as possible!
