Christmas is the biggest celebration of the year and food seems to be the No.1 priority throughout the holidays.  We all just think,“I’ll give myself a free pass and be good again after the holidays”.  But…what about all the hard work that went down during the year? I’m not saying don’t eat, but it would be a shame to let it go to waste.

So here are 5 tips on how to enjoy the Christmas feasts in moderation:

  1. Keep training! If your gym has closed for the holidays, go for a jog or ride a bike. Even a walk will do the trick!

 

  1. Try to eat and drink as sensibly as possible.

 

  1. Avoid skipping meals, especially breakfast.

 

  1. Drink a lot of water. Keep your body hydrated. This will also prevent a possible hangover if you overdo it with alcohol.

 

  1. Enjoy yourself! Feel free to enjoy the treats you really love but in small portions.
