Christiana (or rather becreative as she’s known on Instagram) shared her prawn and Ouzo recipe with me and I must say it was delicious. Perfect for those who are fasting and perfect for those who are not!

Feeds approx.: 3-4 people

Ingredients:

  • ½ kilo glorious prawns
  • 2/3 stems spring onion chopped into pieces
  • 1 clove garlic minced
  • Chopped parsley for garnish
  • 2 shot glasses of Ouzo
  • Olive oil
  • Salt according to taste

Method:

Clean and wash prawns. Put a drop of oil in a wok and fry garlic. Add the spring onions, sauté them then throw in the prawns. Cook until they are pinkish in colour letting the water from the prawns evaporate. Pour in Ouzo and simmer for 2 minutes. Add chopped parsley to garnish.
