There are so many amazing natural foundations that there is no need to buy a non-natural anymore. It used to be the case that all the natural foundations had poor formulations and didn’t blend very well or the colors where all a bit orangey-pink.  With the technological advancement the last 5 years in the natural formulation industry, things have started to get much better for people who only want to use natural.

I’ve tested a lot of foundations to see which I like best for the right skin type, so here are my favorites!

Best for dry mature skin: Vapour Organics
Sunflower oil based with light reflecting mica in it. It is the perfect foundation if your skin needs some radiance. A little bit goes a long way as it is a very rich formula so be careful.

Best for normal to dry skin, but even more ideal for already smooth skin: Ilia True Skin Serum Foundation.
Light to medium coverage with dewy finish but I find it works better on skin that doesn’t have a lot of texture to begin with.

Best for oily acne prone skin: Kjaer Weis Foundation.
A cream compact foundation with a matte finish and lots of coverage, saying that it’s very versatile so you can use it however you like. I like to use it with a wet sponge as it melts into the skin better and I can control coverage.

Best for normal skin: Ere Perez Oat Milk Foundation.
A lovely medium coverage with natural skin-like finish.  This is a very forgiving formula on any textures, so if you have issues with your skin you will like it.
