When Paola posted this great recipe in her stories, I knew I had to make them too. I doubled the ingredients and adapted the recipe to what we had at home and they came out perfectly! Try them out.
Ingredients:
- 1 ½ cup oat flour ( Paola uses whole wheat flour)
- cocoa powder
- ½ tbsp. baking soda
- ½ tbsp. salt
- ½ cup maple syrup
- melted coconut butter ( Paola uses coconut oil)
- 2 tbsp. vanilla extract ( I forgot to add this and they still came out delish)
- 1 cup dark chocolate chips
- 1 banana mashed
- 1 banana chopped into small pieces
Method:
- In a bowl mash banana, coconut oil, vanilla essence and maple syrup.
- In a separate bowl mix flour, baking soda and cocoa together.
- Mix the wet and the dry ingredients together folding in the cut banana and the chocolate chips.
- Place the cookie mixture in the fridge for 30 minutes.
- Remove from the fridge and make small, round, bite size balls and place on an oven tray.
- Bake for 15 mins on 160˚
Voilà
