Although I’m not a huge fan of mincemeat, I love the idea of biting into a meaty bun which is stacked with all things a hamburger filling has to offer. This grilled chicken slider is over-the-top delicious thanks to a combination of chicken, bacon and cheese.
Approx. 4 servings
Ingredients:
- 8 mini buns ( any type)
- 2 boneless skinless chicken breasts
- tablespoon butter, melted
- teaspoon seasoned salt
- cheese slices
- bacon, fried
- lettuce leaves
Method:
Cut each chicken breast in half horizontally. Cut each half crosswise into 2 pieces, making 8 total pieces of chicken. Brush each piece of chicken with butter; sprinkle with seasoned salt.
Heat grill pan or grill over medium heat. Place chicken on grill. Cook 2 to 3 minutes; turn. Cook 2 to 3 minutes on other side or until juice of chicken is clear when center of thickest part is cut. Top each chicken piece with a slice of cheese and a slice of bacon, broken into 2 pieces.
Cut each roll in half horizontally. Place lettuce on rolls; top with chicken. Serve immediately.
