Fresh Line is a relatively small store in Limassol on Leoforos Makariou (187H) that has always caught my attention. Always in a mad rush, I never found the time to pop in until Maria said we were invited to visit the store and find out more about this organic range. It was a great experience.
Fresh Line is a Fresh Organic Cosmetics company which was founded in 1992 in Athens, Greece by Mayra Vagioni-Stasinopoulou. Products inspired by Ancient Greek wisdom of herbal therapy follow traditional family recipes. Silicone, Parabens, SLS / SLES, Propylene Glycol, Butylene Glycol, Petrochemicals, Phthalates, PEG, Animal Tested Ingredients, Collagen, Triethanolamine, GMOs, Carbomer are not used in these products. The ingredients used are found in your kitchen or garden. You may not consider that our skin is our largest organ but in fact it is. Whatever we put on our skin, it is absorbed which is why it is so important that we use good quality products. When we look after our skin with good quality ingredients, our skin performs better.
What really excites me about Fresh Line and their organic proposition is their Fresh Bar. It almost reminds me of an exquisite cake and ice cream parlour but these products are not for us to eat but for our bodies to enjoy. The Fresh Line Beauty Bar consists of 12 certified organic face masks combining herbal extracts and essential oils specifically formulated for our facial concerns. These active ingredients must be kept in the fridge to preserve their authenticity and used within 2 months.
Next to this, you will find the hand crafted soaps. I love my soaps as you may have gathered from pervious articles. There is something really gratifying about having a large bar of soap in my hands knowing that it is full of really good ingredients. Remember not all soaps are made the same so choose wisely.
Fresh Line Soaps look good enough to eat. Glycerin based, some of their soaps can be used on face as well as body. Glycerin is classed as a humectants which means it attracts and locks in moisture. The mixture and blend of Glycerin with herbs, spices, essential oils and other natural ingredients to cleanse and treat the skin while the essential oils deliver an aromatherapy experience in your bathroom isfaultless. There are Aromatherapy Fizzing Balls for the bath which is perfect for this time of year. Citrus Acid based, they are incredible cleansing to the skin. Citric Acid removes dead skin cells, unclogs pores, acts as an antioxidant and is very effective in treating uneven skin tones. There is a Fizzing Ball for whatever your mind and body is craving; from their ‘Apollo’ Wellness & Vitality ball which is full of rich plant oils, blended with Green Tea, Fennel and Sage to relieve muscle discomfort and to stimulate blood circulation and the nervous system to their ‘Circle’ Relaxing & Balancing ball which is blended with more relaxing essential oils to offer a more soothing, relaxing and calming experience.
The Fresh Bar is also home to, shower gels, body lotions, body butters, facial cleansing and hair care products. Everything at the Fresh Bar, excluding the Fizzing Balls, is sold by weight and any desired quantity.
