Jonathan Seagull is a story for people who want to follow their hearts and make their own rules.

Like many of us, Jonathan wants to do things outside the social norms. He wants to fly higher, visit new places, basically do things differently. And when he finally musters the courage to do so, his life is never the same again. He goes on a life’s journey that the rest of the seagulls only dream of!

A simple, powerful little book.

3 things that stuck with me:

  1. You’ll never know if you don’t try. Stop overthinking about that new “idea”, take the first step and see what happens.
  2. Visualize your goals before jumping in. Set your compass and sails and your ship will sail to its destination.
  3. Keep finding yourself a little bit each day. Be open to new ideas, remove the “that’s how I am syndrome” and keep discovering yourself each day.

I highly recommend you also read this book to your children! It’s very easy for them to understand and its teachings could help them start their own journey.
