Banana and peanut butter… One of the most popular combos and most tasty too! This recipe will solve all your “I need something sweet” problems and it’s healthy, sweet and so easy to make! So, banana and peanut butter baked oatmeal it is!

Ingredients:

  • 1 ripe banana
  • 2 cups rolled oats
  • 1 1/2 cup milk of your choice 
  • 2 tbsp honey 
  • 1 tsp cocoa powder
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • A pinch of salt
  • 1 tbsp ground flaxseed
  • A handful of dark chocolate chips

Method:

In a bowl, mash the banana and add all the liquid ingredients. Mix until well combined. Take a small rectangle Pyrex and place the oats, cinnamon, baking powder and cocoa powder. Mix everything together, with the easiest tool, your hands.  Now pour the banana mixture in the Pyrex, add some chocolate chips and whisk very well! Once mxed, place a few chocolate chips more on top and bake for 30-35 minutes at 180c. Let cool, cut in pieces and garnish with some melted peanut butter and banana slices, serve and thank me later!
