When it comes to acne we all want one magic fix but acne is more complicated than that. If you have or are currently experiencing acne because I know the internal emotional trauma and frustration it can cause, and how problematic skin can wash any even the tiniest sliver of confidence you must quit sugar for good and follow a thorough cleansing routine. Today’s blog is all about cleansing your face the right way.

  1. Your skin needs meticulous cleansing twice a day. Choose a mild, deep-cleansing product which ultimately doesn’t dry up your skin.
  2. Exfoliate once a week. Use products that have salicylic acid which remove dead cells and unclog the pores. Alternatively, use a facial mask with pink clay for deep cleansing and which absorbs sebum.
  3. Do not forget to hydrate the skin. It may seem odd to you, but hydration is necessary even for oily skin. You just have to choose a light moisturizer to avoid clogging pores.
  4. Fight blemishes locally. To help, use a product, which has special soothing ingredients, and apply it to the affected area. Do not pick your spots. This will just make matters worse.
