Want to fuel your body with great energy, improve your health, lose stubborn weight, fight acne, bloating and brain fog all in one? Then Green Smoothies will be the next health habit you will adore!

You can have your green smoothie as your daily breakfast, a mid-morning snack or even a post-workout drink. Green smoothies are great as dark green vegetables are rich in iron, folate and other B-complex vitamins that help in DNA repair, support the body’s ability to flush out toxins and help supply the body with oxygen for sustained energy.

To start making your green smoothies you simply need a blender and lots of imagination for creating your own fruit & veg combinations.

What’s in a green smoothie (1 serving):

For 1 serving of green smoothie you need about 1 cup liquid + 1 cup of leafy greens + 1+ ½  cup of fruit + extras.

1 cup liquid: can be orange juice, herbal tea such as green tea, water, coconut milk or almond milk

1 cup (or a handful) of leafy greens: can be kale, spinach, cilantro, celery

1 + ½ cup fruit: can be any fruit but I prefer mangos, pineapples, kiwis, nectarines, peaches, bananas, and berries.

Extras: can be protein powders like hemp or pea protein, maca powder, chia seeds, acai powder, ginger, turmeric, cayenne pepper, spirulina or chlorella and many more.
