When my white hair comes out to play, what do I do to make them go away?

Baby lights

I’m stalling to colour my roots and I will continue to do so for as long as baby lights allow me to. Baby lights are thin strands of highlighted hair that look as natural as possible camouflaging not colouring my whites. This method allows me to avoid the dreaded monthly dye and goes for a minimum of 3 – 6 months. I tend to do my lights four times annually, twice being a full head of lights and twice half a head.

I have been doing my lights at Art U Hair House, in Limassol for 7 years now and my thin hair is in perfect condition due to the process, treatment and care. My highlights are done with foil and a silk protein lightener infused with beeswax but it’s the OLAPLEX treatment which is mixed in that keeps my hair in ship shape.

OLAPLEX, a 3 step in salon and home treatment is used to protect and prevent breakage. Step 1 is used in the lightener, step 2, to maintain the treatment at home and step 3 closes cuticles, mends the bonds and seals the end when lights are finished in the salon.

After my baby lights are ready I have a five-minute rinse. This takes out all the yellow tones and perfects the colour. I then have my OLAPLEX 15-minute mask put on, shampoo and conditioner which is now Shu Uemura and voila I’m ready for my blow dry.

I have the best lights in town thanks to my Art U Hair House!
