Super easy, super delicious, super moorish! My mum’s cookies are made on repeat both in mine and her house. Great recipe to make with the kids and perfect with a cup of coffee.

Makes approx. 12 -15 cookies

Ingredients:

  • unsalted butter
  • 50 gr. Caster sugar
  • 1 egg beaten
  • 150 gr. self-raising flour sifted
  • Bournville Chocolate cut into pieces

 

Method:

Beat the butter and sugar together until light and fluffy. Add the egg and beat thoroughly. Fold in the flour and chocolate. Place teaspoons of the mixture a little apart on greased baking sheets and bake in a preheated moderate oven, 180 ° for 15 to 20 minutes. Transfer to a wire rack to cool.

It is as simple as that.
