Ever since I was young I would always dream of having arched, beautifully shaped eyebrows. You know the kind of eyebrows Angelina Jolie, Eva Mendes and Rihanna have. Unfortunately, I was given patchy, round ones and the constant scuffle to perfectly shape them regularly annoyed me. As a young adult, all I could think of was to make them as thin as possible but luckily I snapped out of that phase quite early on and I managed to regrow them. Of course they never really went back to their original density and so I hit the cosmetic shops trying to find that perfect product that would give me a flawless brow!
The cherry on the top came as soon as I hit 38 and noticed that my eyes looked awfully tired and droopy even on the days when I managed to get enough sleep. The end result can last from anything between 10-12 months if they are looked after with SPF protection. Once you get them done, you need to apply the ointment that you are given and keep them away from water for about 5 days (not a problem as you can wash your face with a wet cotton pad avoiding the brows). They do get slightly scabby but nothing that doesn’t go away within a few days. The end result is worth it ladies!
The reasons for perfectly shaped eyebrows are simple but quite important:
- They make you look as if you’ve had a good 10-hour sleep (!)
- They’re an inexpensive way to look great without having to resort to cosmetic procedures
