Nadia is definitely the best cake maker I know! Her brownies are to die for, especially if you are a chocolate lover like myself! This recipe was given to me years ago and has been a life saver for afternoons with my girls and children’s play dates. At some point, I was brownie-  making weekly for a friend who used to serve it at his then bistro/bar.

For approx. 10 people

Ingredients:

  • 150 gr. All-purpose flour
  • 300 gr. Icing sugar
  • 180 gr. Unsalted butter
  • 150 gr. Bournville Chocolate cut into pieces
  • 1 tbsp. Baking Powder
  • 1 Sachet vanilla
  • 3 Eggs
  • Foil Tray

Method:

Bain-marie the chocolate pieces and the butter then pour into a mixing bowl. Stir in the sugar and whisk together. Whilst whisking add the eggs one by one and then the vanilla. Sieve in the flour and the baking powder and continue to whisk until smooth. Put the mixture into a disposable foil tray and cook at 180 ° in a pre- heated oven for 33 minutes.

It is as simple as that.

Voilà
