My brother in law, George, has a love for cooking. Many of my blog posts will be of his recipes – quick, easy and delicious. He always comes up with great ideas and today’s recipe, was given to me a couple of hours before I had guests. This dessert was a hit.

Jot it down:

For approx. 10 people (Individual serving bowls)

Ingredients:

• X2 packets shortbread biscuits
• X1 500 ml. Vanilla ice cream
• X2 packets fresh strawberries
• Sugar
• Mozart, White Chocolate Cream and Strawberry – Liqueur

Method: Cut the strawberries into quarters and put them into a bowl. Add a tablespoon of sugar to sweeten and soften them, then put in the fridge. Break the biscuits into small pieces and place them in another bowl. The strawberries and biscuits can be prepared beforehand. Get your individual ice cream bowls ready and just before serving, put a couple of pieces of shortbread in first, add a scoop of vanilla ice cream, pour over a shot of liqueur and add a tablespoon of strawberries over the top. The desert is ready to be served.
It is as simple as that.

Voilà
