We are going through tough times, even for the most optimistic of us. We are drained and the “wind” that is constantly blowing is throwing us off course. Lockdowns, SMSs, viruses, and other crazy experiences we are facing today can negatively affect our action plans, goals and even our well-being.

BUT! What if you could take control? What if you developed a mindset that was immune to the forces of the “wind”?

To do this, you need to first:

  • Identify what you can control (feelings, thoughts, actions) and take 100% ownership of them.

It is easy to fall into a trap where you give up, blame everything and everyone else. But what good will that bring you?

Which leads to our second point:

  • Adjust your sails and stop going against the wind.

How can we benefit from this situation? Our wellbeing be it physical, mental and even business-related is at stake. Try going for runs near the beach, start a new online business out of a hobby you love. Think outside your box.

The pandemic and the whole Covid 19 situation does not appear to be leaving our lives any time soon, however, it should not matter.  

  • Stop watching the news, and focus on the things that WILL have a direct and positive impact on your lives.

As the captain of your own life, adjust your sails and take back control.
