Bumping into Ditale’s eye-catching Instagram account, I was instantly drawn to her minimal yet luring fine jewelry designs. Her 9 carat gold, gold plated and silver works of art are characterized by the principles of simplicity, durability and slow fashion and are all handcrafted on our island!
Maria, Neocleous, the founder and designer behind this amazing brand has been exposed to the craft of jewelry making all her life as she grew up in her father’s jewelry workshop. After quitting her day job (computer teacher,) she pursued her dream and created Ditale together with the man who inspired her.
‘Jewelry design has always been a passion of mine since I was raised in a family of jewelers and especially expert technicians in the field. So together with my father we started in 2018 Ditale Studio a jewelry brand based on my designs, using ethically sourced and recycled silver and gold.’
