When Paola posted this great recipe in her stories, I knew I had to make them too. I doubled the ingredients and adapted the recipe to what we had at home and they came out perfectly! Try them out.

Ingredients:

  • 1 ½ cup oat flour ( Paola uses whole wheat flour)
  • cocoa powder
  • ½ tbsp. baking soda
  • ½ tbsp. salt
  • ½ cup maple syrup
  • melted coconut butter ( Paola uses coconut oil)
  • 2 tbsp. vanilla extract ( I forgot to add this and they still came out delish)
  • 1 cup dark chocolate chips
  • 1 banana mashed
  • 1 banana chopped into small pieces

Method:

  1. In a bowl mash banana, coconut oil, vanilla essence and maple syrup.
  2. In a separate bowl mix flour, baking soda and cocoa together.
  3. Mix the wet and the dry ingredients together folding in the cut banana and the chocolate chips.
  4. Place the cookie mixture in the fridge for 30 minutes.
  5. Remove from the fridge and make small, round, bite size balls and place on an oven tray.
  6. Bake for 15 mins on 160˚

Voilà
