At this point in time asking IF you like wine is of no need. If you are reading this, we only have 2 options: you either L-O-V-E it or you are beginning to do so!

Although I am a strong believer that colour should not be an issue in ANY aspects in life, there is a significant proportion of people who claim that they only drink white wine.

Do you find red wine harder to understand or even enjoy? Do you love the idea of drinking red wine but something holds you back? Lets change that!

Emerge yourself in the wonderful world of red wine starting with 4 good red wines that aim to please. We also describe them as “Crowd Pleasers” because:

  1. They are light bodied
  2. They are big in flavor and big on fruitiness
  3. They’re oh-so smooth and not very tannic
  4. Amazingly cost effective

Let the go-to list begin:

  1. Paladin, Salbanello:

Perfect for every occasion, it has a bright red colour and is very aromatic as it reminds you of freshly cut strawberriescurrants and raspberries. It has a soft velvety taste and is perfectly balanced with an off-dry illusion. It can also be enjoyed chilled. Try it, you’ll be impressed!

  1. Fortant de France, Merlot:

One of the best wines to taste when discovering the Merlot Grape variety!

This wine has a vivid, deep, purplish red colour. It has intense notes of blackberry and peppermint. Round and smooth on the palate, you can easily identify lovely flavours of black fruits.

  1. Mega Spileo, III Cuvee:

A Greek light bodied, off-dry red wine that can also be enjoyed chilled! Deep red in colour with a complex aroma of red and black fruit syrups, sweet spices and vanilla. This wine is for sure, one of my all-time favs!

  1. Chapoutier, Belleruche:

Made by the most awarded wine maker on the planet, this wine is a great representative of Cotes du Rhone!

A deep garnet red, it has an intense and fruity scent with aromas of blackcurrant, raspberry and hints of white pepper.  A juicy wine, with powerful red fruits on the palet, which is silky and has delicate, velvety tannins.
